Romania is an absolutely beautiful place to visit. It rained a majority of the time which gives most of the photography a moody feel. We stayed in Brasov which is in the mountains and the temperature was around 60 degrees fahrenheit which was a big relief to the 102+ degrees we were experiencing in Texas. This trip I decided again to bring only the Canon G11 because of the size and weight. Lugging a bunch of gear up 1480 steps to the top of Poenari didn't sound like fun as ounces equal pounds and pounds equal pain... Once again the G11 did a beautiful job.
